Entrance:
Bright welcoming neon lights on a dark alley right before the port.
2 Mojitos- mint, sugar, lemon juice, white rum, soda €6 each

Minty lemony fresh. Nice start to the evening as we waited by the bar for about 45 minutes for a table. The Spanish are so chatty, they just don’t want to get up from their precious foodless tables! I don’t blame them, as there was no rush in service, there was also never any pressure to leave the restaurant/bar!

Looking down at the bar from our table:

More drinks!
Tom Collins- gin, Schweppes lemon soda, sugar, soda €6.00 (left)
Margarita Blue- white tequila, lemon juice, cointreau, blue curaçao and sugar €3.50 (right)

Sweet drinks, the Tom Collins fizzy, and the Margarita Blue slushy, but with a good amount of alcohol in both.
Nachos with Cheese Dip €3.80

Thick cheddar cheese, hardened and dried a bit when we were served, with salty and very corn flavored chips. They seem to serve small portions here, but the price tag is cheap.
Burrito (chile con carne) €3.90

Loosely wrapped burrito stuffed with lots of yummy mushy beans and a bit of meat, and falls apart real easily.
Ropa Vieja €6.50

Quite a bit of mushy stringy beef in a tomatoey sauce, slightly spicy and slightly sweet, almost like a beefy stew. Comes with 2 soft baked tortillas and long white rice.
Taco of the Day (veal) €6

Chunks of chewy steak-like grilled beef and guacamole on soft tortillas.
Another good place for a fun night out and simple Mexican fare.
total+tax= €41.70 (dinner for 2)

excuse me… those mojitos… did you say “lemony?” they aren’t supposed to be lemony! they should burst with glorious limey goodness! while i admit, lemony and minty are the best of friends and make a delicious beverage, but such a beverage should not impersonate a mojito!

Hi monkey! Yes, I did realize that a mojito should be made with lime, but the menu said it was made with lemon, and it didn’t taste like limes, but I still thought it tasted yummy. Perhaps they couldn’t think of another name for a mojito made with lemons? Btw, I love your website! Thanks for dropping by and commenting!
