Another Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant with a continuously revolving belt of food. Staff and waiters were all Chinese as usual, so I would assume that it is yet another Chinese owned Japanese restaurant. However, this time, the food was a bit better quality and seemingly one of the better if not the best all-you-can-eat Japanese here.

Lunch is €8.50 and dinner/weekends €12.80

Entrance:

Cleaner and more colorful than other restaurants of this type. Most of the tables are next to one of the 2 different belts for easy self-service. In the back seating area is space for tables and barbecue meat which was rather empty at the time, the all-you-can-eat is probably more worth the trip!

Some of the items I picked up from the belt:

Crispy strips of salty seaweed and a soft salmon roll.


Fried tofu soaked in soy sauce and peppers, and a skewer of sweet soy sauce grilled squid, salmon, and shrimp.

The grilled squid, salmon, and shrimp were really good and I hogged many from the belt as soon as the waiters placed them on it!

Spring roll.

Tasted like a crispy, fruity and sweet egg roll, I am actually not sure if there was any meat in it.

Sticky sweet rice rolls with egg, and fried noodles.

The hungry chicken was naughty and enjoyed 2 bowls of this really saucy beefy noodle.

Bean sprouts and an oily fried crispy bread topped with sesame.

The bread was sweet and surprisingly tasted like shrimp, it even had a piece of shrimp in the middle!

For a cheap and filling all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant, Kirin was pretty A-OK. If I wanted to get Japanese buffet in Barcelona again, I’d come here!
