An Indian restaurant that also happens to be a trendy bar in the Born neighborhood. Very rare indeed.c/Rec, 69

Entrance:

Too bad I didn’t get a photo at night, when it’s glowing pink and pretty.

Interior:
On weekends, this place is packed and you have to wait up to an hour for a table. We didn’t want to wait last time, so we tried this time on a Wednesday night, and getting a table was easy. There is also a super bright bar area lit up by a large neon pink frame that gives off an intense pink glow to the entire restaurant.
Vegetable Samosa €7.50

Nice and spicy! Soft potato and peas wrapped in a thin crispy skin, shaped into a small round ball instead of the typical pyramid shape. On the left is a circle of mint sauce and on the right, sweet tamarind sauce. A bit pricey compared to the samosas I’ve gotten at every other Indian restaurant, but good tasting nonetheless.
Chana Masala €8.00

Chickpeas cooked just enough not to be mushy in a mild spicy, light tomato curry sauce.
Salmon Filet Curry €11.00

Large chunks of fresh salmon in a similar mild tomato sauce.
Plain Naan €2.00

Thin, crispy and soft.
White Rice €3.90

Fluffy rice.
Still the same good Indian food I love, just under a fancy guise.
