A little gelato and waffle shop on the corner of a busy intersection of shopping streets. It sits at the end of Portal de L’Àngel, the “other” rambla which runs down from the big Corte Inglés shopping center in Plaza Catalunya. Every time you walk down this area, you can smell the strong sweet waffle smells wafting down the street, enticing everyone within a block’s radius to come and get a yummy waffle! I can’t remember, but the ice creams and waffles are around €1.50-€3 each.

There are almost always lines coming out of the store. It is just a small ice cream stand, really, with no seating area or much space inside. A lot of people stand around or sit on steps here eating waffles.

Even at night, there are lines! Lines all day!

Really sugary sweet crispy waffle, like it was glazed with caramelized sugar. Hot right out of the waffle maker, and topped with thick yummy chocolate sauce and crunchy sugar coated nuts (probably peanuts). Just thinking about it makes me want to go get some! mmmmm…

The waffle was good as always with a big melty scoop of really rich and smooth vanilla gelato. All the gelato here is rich and creamy!

This shop has a prime and lucky location. There are a lot of other waffle stands that sell yummy waffles as well. I just always seem to magnetically wander to this store after a long walk or afternoon of shopping in the city.
